Getting to our Carolina Shores office

Wilmington Eye at Carolina Shores is located just off Highway 17 in the South Brunswick Office Building, neighboring Novant Health’s medical offices. Whichever direction you are coming from, you can look for the big Goodwill store, which is situated adjacent to our office.

Patients traveling from the Shallotte area will drive West on Ocean Highway, or Highway 17. Shortly after passing the Crow Creek Golf Club, Wilmington Eye is on your left. Simply take a left on Persimmon Road, then a right on Emerson Bay, then a right turn into the parking area.

Those traveling in the opposite direction, such as patients from Little River SC, will travel North on Highway 17. Roughly two miles after crossing the North Carolina state line, look for Wilmington Eye on your right. Then, turn right onto Emerson Bay, then take an immediate right into our parking lot.

Why Our Carolina Shores Location Is Unique

As we continue to grow and work towards expanding access to advanced vision care, there are a few unique factors about this location that help us provide such optimal care with a small, yet dedicated team! To accommodate our specialized team of dedicated providers and support staff, our Carolina Shores office closes daily for lunch from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., except on Fridays when we close at 2:00 p.m. Often, doctors will still see patients later Fridays for pre-schedule appointments, depending on availability. We also welcome walk-ins. Regardless of these unique hours, patients can still reach a Wilmington Eye team member outside of business hours by contacting our main line at 910-763-3601.
