This individual is responsible for providing chair-side doctor assistance, performing diagnostic tests as required by ophthalmologist, and administering treatment as allowed and ordered by the physician.
Contact Lens Technician
This individual is responsible for performing an extensive number of data collection functions, as delegated by the physician, to allow for proper professional diagnosis of patient’s condition; accurately and appropriately evaluating and/or fitting contact lenses; training the patient in the care, insertion and removal of lenses; and providing technical expertise that instills confidence in the patient.
Patient Services – Check In/Check Out Receptionist
This position is responsible for patient check-in and check-out, as well as treating all patients in a professional and courteous manner. Review patient demographics to verify necessary information, paperwork and signatures have been obtained. Ensure the patient feels welcome to the practice and continues to return in order to receive top quality health care treatment.
Patient Services – Call Center Representative
Answer telephone in an enthusiastic, courteous and professional manner. Direct calls to appropriate personnel. When scheduling appointments, collect all pertinent information from patient and enter in computer. Reschedule and cancel appointments as necessary.
Responsible for assisting the patient with all aspects of surgery and to promote patient-confidence in their medical care and make the surgical experience as smooth as possible. Acts as a liaison between the office, surgical facility, patient and primary care physician. Responsible for coordinating all physician schedules and non-clinic needs.
Charge Entry Representative
Responsible for daily entry of office visits and surgery charges for a large Ophthalmology Practice. This is a remote position.
Claims Resolution Representative
Responsible for follow-up on outstanding claims, researching claim denials, composing and submitting appeals, and handling any necessary claim correspondence necessary to have a claim paid.
