Dr. Jill Greene, OD is a native of Peachland, North Carolina. She graduated with honors from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee where she received a Doctor of Optometry degree in 2015. Dr. Greene has been practicing in the Brunswick and New Hanover areas since graduating.

 

She joined the Wilmington Eye family in September of 2022 and is skilled in a wide range of primary care optometry. Her specialties include prescribing contact lenses, assessing and managing ocular disease including glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, and post-operative LASIK and cataract care.

 

Dr. Greene is a member of the North Carolina Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association. She is licensed to practice optometry in both North Carolina and South Carolina. She is very passionate about providing quality eye care to all patients.

What I enjoy most about optometry is using my love for problem solving to give patients their best vision and best medical treatment while also connecting with them and getting to know them more with each visit.

In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband, 2 daughters, and rescue dogs.
