Wilmington Eye offers advanced vision care in Burgaw, NC

Wilmington Eye in Burgaw opened in February 2025, enhancing access to affordable vision care and specialty ophthalmic services to the Pender County community. Our Burgaw location offers comprehensive eye care, including routine and thorough eye exams, surgical ophthalmic treatments, as well as diagnosis management, and care for a wide range of eye conditions.

Locals may recognize our office as the former location of Motsinger Advanced Eye Care. We are excited to welcome those patients to our newest clinic and continue providing them with exceptional vision care for years to come.

Additionally, Wilmington Eye in Burgaw is one of two Wilmington Eye locations serving Pender County. Our original Pender County office, located in Scotts Hill, serves the Hampstead and Porters Neck communities. Now, our second Pender County location provides eye care to residents in Burgaw, Rocky Point, and the surrounding areas.

The Wilmington Eye team in Burgaw also operates a full-service optical shop, where patients can fill eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, as well as shop for both prescription and non-prescription sunglasses.

Where will my eye surgery take place?

All LASIK eye surgeries occur at Wilmington Eye LASIK Center on New Hanover Medical Park Drive in Wilmington. All other major eye surgeries, such as surgeries for cataracts, glaucoma, or strabismus occur at Pender Hospital or the Wilmington Eye Surgery Center on 16th Street in Wilmington. Most surgical consultations and pre-and-post-operative care will take place at our Burgaw office.
